Try the feature by visiting 'My Investments' and clicking the new 'Add Investments' link at the top.

Follow the instructions after that. It will help you add different kinds of investments.

How to upload your mutual fund portfolio

  • Enter your email address registered with CAMS or Karvy.
  • You will receive an email from CAMS with an encrypted file of your detailed mutual fund transactions within 10 minutes.
  • You'll also receive an email from Value Research. Follow those simple steps mentioned in the mail to import your investment data.
  • Once the data is successfully imported, you'll receive an email with the redirected link to see your investments.
  • Click 'See investment report' and check your mutual fund portfolio on our website.

It's that simple!

Here's how your portfolio will look.

If you have multiple email addresses registered in your mutual fund investments, follow the same instructions and import all your portfolios linked to different email addresses.

How to upload your stock portfolio

  • Download a complete transaction detail from your online trading account. Or ask your broker for the transaction details.
The file should contain the following:
    • Stock names or their stock exchange tickers or symbols. For example, the ticker of Reliance is 500325 on BSE and RELIANCE on NSE.
    • Transaction dates.
    • Transaction type (buy or sell).
    • Quantities and prices of transactions.
  • Ensure the file contains the transaction details, not just the current holdings summary.
  • Next, download the template from our website and modify your transaction file format according to the template.
  • Upload the file in .xls format.
    • There are other methods to import the data, like 'Import using Broker'. Just click on 'View other methods'.
    • Similarly, you can also import stock transactions by uploading the PDF file downloaded from NSDL/CDSL.

Note

  • You can upload transactions in a new portfolio or in an existing portfolio.
  • You can even edit the transaction information after importing the transaction history.
  • You can upload any number of transactions in one go.
  • You can also import password-protected transaction files. Provide the password when prompted.
  • Your SIP, STP, SWP and switch transactions will be accurately reflected.

We recommend that you import your data from CAMS, Karvy, or your NSDL/CDSL file so that your transactions are imported correctly without errors.

If you make a transaction in your mutual fund or stock portfolio, you need to re-import your data so that the changes also reflect here.
